Important Information
  • ​Rabies vaccines must be up to date and proof is required
  • Cat grooms or dogs over 90 lbs will require a phone consultation with the groomer prior to booking
  • Sedatives or medications for grooming must be approved by a veterinarian prior to booking
  • Grooming is available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays by appointment only
  • Grooming is done one on one in a private grooming room. Large breed dogs must be able to go up and down stairs without being carried.
  • Anal gland expressions and ear plucking are done by one of our Registered Veterinary Technicians. This is not included in the cost of your grooming appointment and will be an additional fee.
    ​Please inform us when booking if your pet requires either of these services so we can schedule it with an RVT.  If you do not request this service when booking we may not have time that day to accommodate these services.​

Kristy

Meet Kristy! 

Kristy started in the pet grooming industry in 2011 as a bather at a grooming salon. During her time in this role she was mentored and learned hands on all of her grooming skills until she eventually became a full time groomer herself. The following years she has worked in various grooming salons, boarding facilities and daycares. She also took some time to receive a diploma as a Medical Office Assistant.

Kristy has been our solo groomer at Main Street Animal Hospital since 2016 and feels that she has really found a home here. She is passionate about the work she does and is grateful for all of her clients, both existing and new.

Over the years she has owned many dogs including Rough Collies, Golden Retrievers, Labradors, Pugs, Greyhounds and a Puggle.
She believes that all dogs have something to offer regardless of their breed.

Kristy has spent most of her life working in the horse industry as an owner, competitor, barn manager and riding coach.

She welcomes any new clients and cannot wait to meet you and your pets!
